Learn about WomensDevelopment
Women’s rights and development was established in 2004 by Mary Idiong. Mary had a vision to empower and serve the women and children in her community and the neighboring communities.
So many women and young girls in the villages of Africa, such as the villages in Akwa-Ibom state Nigeria don’t have access to hygienic products.
Our mission is to provide these women and girls with the proper products to better implement self care. Also, we want to educate them on different ways to deal with mental health issues.
We travel to villages, schools, and other townships hosting workshops, bringing awareness to these beautiful young ladies and single mothers.
